Place the journaling tool on the page where you would like to write a passage.  Be sure the elastic guides are touching the paper.
	Use the large top margin to create special titles using alphabet stickers, designer stamps, or calligraphy.  You could also use the top elastic to line your entry up with a title or picture you already have on your page.
	Write your passages using the elastics as lines.  When you come to a letter that goes below the line, you will be able to continue without stopping or running into a rigid straight edge.
